Well it's that time again to present to you another fashion wonder from around the world! This is the second entry in my interview segment called "the Scoop." Today we've got a Sensible Stylista.
Meet Kim..
Name
Kimberly
K. from Sensible Stylista
Occupation/Grade
I’m getting my doctorate in piano
performance and my master’s degree in musicology at the Peabody Institute of
JHU.
How would you describe you style?
Early professional with a playful twist
What is your favorite piece in your
closet?
That’s such a hard question to
answer. I guess my current favorites are
my over-the-knee Guess boots, Burberry Trench, and J. Crew Factory Neon
Statement Necklace.
What is the best thing you found at
a good price?
I once found an Armani blazer (retailed at $1500) for $250
dollars at Nordstrom’s Rack.
How do you go at finding Sensible
Styles?
I love shopping at
discount stores like TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, and Off Saks Fifth, and I scour their
clearance/sale racks for hidden gems. I
also make sure to do my research. If
there is a sale or promotion going on, I’ll definitely know about it.
Your're not only just a style blog,
tell me about your other ventures?
I
also blog about beauty and fitness. I
review exercise DVDS, share healthy recipes, do monthly beauty favorites, etc.
When did you start your blog and
why?
I started blogging in 2011, while I
was living in NYC. I was constantly
inspired by the amazing fashionistas around me, so I decided to blog and
monitor my own style journey.
Favorite Designer?
That’s such a tough question. I’ve been loving Rachel Zoe and Rebecca
Minkoff as of late.
Who inspires you?
I find inspiration everywhere: magazines,
fellow bloggers, TV shows, etc.
Trapped on an island full of
shoes or working with Marc Jacob?
Wow. That’s tough. I think I’d have to go with working with Marc
Jacobs.
Where can we find you?
www.sensiblestylista.blogspot.com. I’m also very active on twitter
(@sensiblestylist), so don’t forget to chat me up =)
That's the end of another segment of 'The Scoop.' Hope you enjoy and thank you Kim for the interview!
Lovely interview! She has a great sense of style! Thanks for sharing :-)
